One of Derbyshire's hidden treasures
Carnfield Hall, South Normanton, Derbyshire.

Carnfield Hall is a country house dating from the 15th and 16th Centuries, standing in its ancient deer park and surrounding woods, 1½ miles from junction 28 of the M1 on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border.
Originally known as Carlingthwaite, it passed to the Babington family in the 15th Century and later to the Revell family, who owned it for over 300 years and developed much of the building seen today.
The Hall has passed through many hands since, including Graham Oliver and Heidi, who continue its restoration today.
